The Wolfman is currently screening at Nay Pyi Daw cinema. The film stars Benicio Del Toro, Cristina Contes, Anthony Hopkins and Nicholas Day. The film is directed by Joe Johnston.
Historic battles exhibited
Artist Myeik Win Htaing is holding a solo exhibition entitled “Myanmar Thu Ye Kaung Hnit Thu Ye Kaung Paji Saya” (Myanmar Heros and Heroic Painters) from May 4 to May 20 at the Myanmar Art Centre, 8 Ko Min Ko Chin Road, Bahan township. Historical battles are presented in acrylic.
Hip-hop concert
Bo Bo entertainment will hold a hip-hop concert featuring a number of well-known stars including J-Me, Ye Lay and Jauk Jat on May 23 at Hmyaw Sin Island, Kandawgyi Park. Tickets are K5000 each and are available at Uncle Sam, Nobody (Dagon, Yankin, FMI, BAK), Conqueror (Lapyae Wunn) and Capital Hyper Mart.
Art exhibition
Art lovers are invited to an exhibition organised by magazine illustrators at the Myanmar Traditional Artists and Artisans Organisation, Bogyoke Aung San market running from April 28 to May 2. About 100 artists are participating.
