"Republic of the Union of Myanmar National Unity Government Ministry of Foreign Affairs Statement No. (6 / 2021) Myanmar’s Representation at the 38th and 39th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in October 2021. October 17, 2021 ================ The National Unity Government (NUG) of Myanmar appreciates the decision during the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on October 15, 2021, to invite a non-political representative from Myanmar to the 38th and 39th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits scheduled to take place on October 26-28, 2021. We welcome ASEAN's recognition of the Military Junta's insufficient progress in implementing the Five-Point Consensus, particularly the Junta leadership's lack of commitment to allowing the ASEAN envoy to engage all concerned parties. We realize this is an unprecedented and positive step by ASEAN for the people of Myanmar. Since its illegal seizure of power on February 1, the Junta has continued to take advantage of the ASEAN principles to prevent meaningful engagement to resolve the current political crisis while attempting to consolidate control of the country by force and violence. The Junta has betrayed not only its own people but also the leadership of the ASEAN. In line with the ASEAN's decision for Myanmar's non-political representation at the upcoming summits, the NUG wishes to convey the following: 1. We urge the ASEAN to prevent not only the participation of SAC officials but also any individuals and organizations associated with them. ASEAN must ensure the Myanmar representative could objectively represent the interest of Myanmar and its people. 2. We stand ready to provide recommendations for non-political representative for ASEAN’s evaluation and consideration. We continue to take our membership of ASEAN seriously and with the utmost respect. The NUG has consistently reiterated its commitment to engage and cooperate with the ASEAN in finding solution bring democracy and stability back in the country so Myanmar can be a constructive partner in the region.....ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော် အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အမှတ် (၆/၂၀၂၁) ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ်၊ အောက်တိုဘာတွင် ကျင်းပမည့် ၃၈ ကြိမ်မြောက်နှင့် ၃၉ ကြိမ်မြောက် အာဆီယံ ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးများနှင့် ဆက်စပ်အစည်းအဝေးများအတွက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ကိုယ်စားပြုမှု အောက်တိုဘာလ ၁၇ ရက်၊ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် =========================== အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ အနေဖြင့် အောက်တိုဘာလ (၁၅) ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သော အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံများ၏ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးများ အစည်းအဝေး၌ ချမှတ်လိုက်သည့် ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက် အနေဖြင့် လာမည့် အောက်တိုဘာလ (၂၆) ရက်မှ (၂၈) ရက် အထိကျင်းပမည့် (၃၈) ကြိမ်မြောက်နှင့် (၃၉) ကြိမ်မြောက် အာဆီယံ ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးများနှင့် ဆက်စပ်အစည်းအဝေးများသို့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် ကိုယ်စားပြုတက်ရောက်ရန်အား နိုင်ငံရေးနယ်ပယ်မှ မဟုတ်သော ကိုယ်စားလှယ်ကိုသာ ဖိတ်ကြားမည်ဟူသည့် အစီအစဥ်အား ကြိုဆိုပါသည်။ အာဆီယံအထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ်အား မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှ သက်ဆိုင်သူအားလုံးနှင့် တွေ့ဆုံပေးစေရေး ကတိကဝတ်ကို စစ်ကောင်စီ ခေါင်းဆောင်အနေဖြင့် ပျက်ကွက်နေခြင်း အပါအဝင် အာဆီယံ၏ ဘုံသဘောတူညီချက် (၅) ရပ်ကို စစ်ကောင်စီမှ အကောင်အထည်ဖော်နိုင်ခြင်း လုံးဝ မရှိကြောင်းကို အာဆီယံမှ သိရှိသဘောပေါက်သည်ကိုလည်း ကျွန်ုပ်တို့မှ အထူးကြိုဆိုပါသည်။ ဤသည်ပင် မြန်မာပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့အတွက် အာဆီယံဘက်မှ ထူးထူးကဲကဲ မကြုံစဖူး အပြုသဘော ဆောင်သည့် ခြေလှမ်းတစ်ရပ်ကို စတင်လိုက်ခြင်းဟု ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ကောက်ချက်ချမိပါသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ (၁) ရက်နေ့ တရားမဝင် အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးသည့် အချိန်မှစ၍ စစ်ကောင်စီသည် နိုင်ငံရေးအကျပ်အတည်းအား ဖြေရှင်းရန် အင်အားသုံးအကြမ်းဖက် ချုပ်ကိုင် ခြင်းဖြင့် အဓိပ္ပါယ်ပြည့်ဝသော ဆက်ဆံရေးတစ်ခုဖြစ်ပေါ်လာနိုင်မှုအား အဟန့်အတားဖြစ်စေပြီး အာဆီယံ၏ အခြေခံမူများအပေါ် အခွင့်ကောင်းယူ အလွဲသုံးစားလုပ်လျက် ရှိပါသည်။ ယင်းလုပ်ရပ် သည် စစ်ကောင်စီအနေဖြင့် မြန်မာပြည်သူ၊ပြည်သားများကို သစ္စာဖောက်ရုံမျှမက အာဆီယံ၏ ဦးဆောင်ဦးရွက်ပြုမှုကိုပါ အများအယုံအကြည်မဲ့အောင် ပြုလုပ်လိုက်ခြင်းပင် ဖြစ်သည်။ လာမည့်ထိပ်သီးအစည်းအဝေးများတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကိုယ်စားပြုအနေဖြင့် နိုင်ငံရေးနယ်ပယ်မှ မဟုတ်သောကိုယ်စားလှယ်ကို တက်ရောက်စေသည့် အာဆီယံ၏ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်နှင့် စပ်လျဥ်း၍ အမျိုးသား ညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ၏ ဆန္ဒကို တင်ပြလိုပါသည်။ ၁။ အာဆီယံအနေဖြင့် စစ်ကောင်စီမှ အရာရှိများ၏ ပါဝင်ပတ်သက်ခြင်းကို တားမြစ်ရုံသာမက ၄င်းတို့နှင့် ဆက်နွယ်နေသော မည်သည့် တစ်ဦးတစ်ယောက်/အဖွဲ့အစည်းတို့၏ ပါဝင်ပတ်သက် ခြင်းကို လုံးဝ(လုံးဝ) တားမြစ်ရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့မှ တိုက်တွန်းပါသည်။ အာဆီယံ ရွေးချယ်ဖိတ်ခေါ် လိုက်သည့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကိုယ်စားပြုသည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် မြန်မာပြည်သူ ပြည်သားတို့၏ အကျိုးနှင့်ဆန္ဒကို လိုလား ကိုယ်စားပြုသူသာ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အာဆီယံအနေဖြင့်ခိုင်မာ သေချာရပါမည်။ ၂။ အာဆီယံမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ နိုင်ငံရေးနယ်ပယ်မှ မဟုတ်သော ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အား ရွေးချယ်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် အကြုံပြုချက်များပေးနိုင်ရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ အဆင်သင့်ရှိနေပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အာဆီယံ အဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်ခြင်းကို အထူးပင် အလေးအနက်ထားပြီး အာဆီယံ အပေါ် အစွမ်းကုန်လေးစားသမှုဖြင့် ရှေ့ဆက်သွားလျက်ရှိပါသည်။ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဒီမိုကရေစီ ပြန်လည်ရရှိရေးနှင့် နိုင်ငံတွင်းတည်ငြိမ်အေးချမ်းမှု အမြန်ဆုံး ပြန်လည်ရရှိရေးတို့အတွက် အာဆီယံနှင့် အတူပူးပေါင်းကာ အဖြေရှာရန် ကတိကဝတ်ပြုပါ ကြောင်းနှင့် သို့မှသာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသည်လည်း အာဆီယံဒေသတွင်း အကျိုးဖြစ်ထွန်းသော မိတ်ဖက်နိုင်ငံ ဖြစ်လာမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကိုလည်း ‌ထပ်လောင်း ပြောကြားလိုက်ပါသည်။..."
