Condemnation of the Webula massacre by barbaric bombardment in a School of Chin State

Description:

"On the morning of Easter Monday, 10th of April 2023, the genocidal military junta once again targeted a Christian Village School in Webula town, Falam Township, Chin State by conducting barbaric bombardment which killed nine and critically wounded three innocent civilians including a pastor, school headmaster, teacher, school children, and women. This barbaric attack on the Christian population during our holiest week, the week of Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday is totally inhumane. We condemn in the strongest possible terms all acts of terrorism and crimes against humanity. These horrific attacks are part of the genocidal military junta’s brutal campaign of attacks against the Christian population. On the Christmas Eve, 24th December 2021, the genocidal military junta burned and killed 35 innocent civilians including children and the staff members of “Save the Children” in Hpruso Karenni State. New Year’s week, on 6th of January 2022, the genocidal military junta brutally tortured and killed 10 innocent civilians including children and journalist in Matupi Chin State. The Webula massacre victims are: 1. Rev. J Saw Za Thang (Local Church Pastor) 2. Thawng Za UK (School Headmaster) 3. Daw Thian Sung 4. Salai Biak Hlai Ceu (12 years old) 5. Sayama Za Hnem Kim (School Teacher, 31 years old) 6. Salai Nathan Hrin Sang 7. Salai Noah San Lian 8. Daw Saw Hlai Kim 9. Chit Min Tu Our deepest condolences, prayers and thoughts are with the families, relatives, and loved ones who are left behind in these horrific attacks. The words cannot describe the sadness, pain and suffering, death and destruction that have been poured upon the innocent people of Myanmar by the evil forces of the genocidal military generals. The international Community has the power to stop these crimes against humanity being carried out against the people of Myanmar by taking immediate and decisive action. The genocidal military generals in Myanmar do not understand words, only actions. Our neighbours, ASEAN, the regional and International community, the UN Security Council, and International Criminal Court (ICC), and the entire free and democratic world must stand firm together in solidarity with the people of Myanmar in this darkest moment in our history. Defeating the brutal evil forces and perpetrators of crimes against humanity in Myanmar and Ukraine is a victory for the whole world. The people of Ukraine and the people of Myanmar are facing the same fighter jets from Russia. The people of Myanmar and Ukraine are fighting for the course of democracy and freedom not only for ourselves but to make the whole world a better place for all. This world must break free from the global coordinated evil forces and cruel criminals. This darkness must be defeated for the light of freedom, peace, and prosperity to come for all humanity. If we rise up together for good then all these evils will fall immediately. The world cannot afford to lose this fight for freedom and justice. There is no other way than the way of life and peace. To have life, together we must win the struggle against the forces of death..."
