"To Honorable members of the parliaments National Diet of Japan We would like to express our utmost appreciation towards the action of the House of Representatives of Japan for adopting a resolution condemning the coup staged by the Myanmar military and urging the country to return to democracy. This move of the Japan’s lower house is, indeed, a great encouragement and support for Myanmar and for the global democratic future as well. We would like to take this opportunity to also thank the parliaments o f Japan for all the support they have been contributing in democratic transition and development of Myanmar. As a legitimate body representing the elected members of parliaments, the CRPH (Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw) will keep on working vigorously with international society urging them to use all the diplomatic resources to stop the unlawful imprisonment and brutal attack by the State Administration Council.
