Maungdaw, 12 June 2005:
"Newly appointed Arakan Governor, or 'Chairman of Arakan state Peace and Development Council', Brig-Gen Khin Maung Myint, arrived at Toung Bro, a westernmost border town of Burma close to Bangladesh, to inspect many worksites there, on 10 June, said townspeople.
The tour is a part of his first official journey after he was posted as the chief of Arakan state by Rangoon authorities..."
