issued a new report... According to the UNODC, the cultivation
of opium has dropped 29 per cent in the past year. Burma now
has 21,500 hectares under opium cultivation (about 134,400 rai). That is down from 30, 900 hectares in 2004, which was a drop from 44,200 in 2003, and soon..."
