"After serious fighting between the troops of Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and Burmese Army, both sides of army order for closing down the Zami river waterway which is reliable for travel by the local civilians and traders. In the last week of May, due to the fighting, this waterway was once closed down for one week by the order of Burmese Army. Because of this order, hundreds of civilians and traders could not move and remained on the half way.
