"Press Statement of MATA for arrestment to Kyaw Minn Htut and his family members Date: 6th September 2021 Kyaw Minn Htut, the member of Myanmar Alliance for Transparency and Accountability (MATA) and his younger brother Kyaw Minn Aung including a man who lived together with them were arrested at home by SAC around 3:00 pm today (6th September 2021) in Nandawon Ward, Monwyar town, Sagaing region. One day ahead, Daw Khin Saw Hlaing and two years old child who are wife and son of Kyaw Minn Htut were also detained on 5th September 2021 by the military as well. Kyaw Minn Htut has been working for environmental protection and human rights issues consistently and he actively participated in the non-violent movement for democracy and human rights since after the coup. Besides, SAC neglected human rights and humanitarian principles by arresting his wife and two years old child. Kyaw Minn Htut is also the civil society representative from the Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) of Myanmar Extractive Industry Transparency Initiatives (MEITI). MATA is the civil society alliance which was formed with over 400 organizations across the country for implementation of transparency and accountability in Extractive Industry through participating in MEITI. Kyaw Minn Hut is representative of Sagaing for MSG on behalf of MATA. Therefore, we strongly ask for freedom of Kyaw Minn Htut and all detained people who participated in the non-violent democracy movement without any harm and stop the coup immediately.....ဖမ်းဆီးခံရသည့်ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ် နှင့် သူ၏မိသားစုဝင်များနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံလုံးဆိုင်ရာပွင့်လင်းမြင်သာမှုနှင့် တာဝန်ယူမှုတာဝန်ခံမှုဆိုင်ရာမဟာမိတ်အဖွဲ့၏ သဘောထားထုတ်ပြန်ချက် ရက်စွဲ။ ။ ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလ (၆) ရက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ပွင့်လင်းမြင်သာမှုနှင့် တာဝန်ယူတာဝန်ခံမှုဆိုင်ရာ မဟာမိတ်အဖွဲ့ (MATA) အဖွဲ့ဝင်တဦး ဖြစ်သည့် ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ် နှင့် သူ၏ညီအရင်းဖြစ်သူ ကိုကျော်မင်းအောင် အပါဝင် (၃) ဦးအား ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလ (၆) ရက်နေ့ ညနေပိုင်းတွင် စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်း၊ မုံရွာမြို့၊ နန္ဒဝန်ရပ်ကွက်ရှိ နေအိမ်တွင် ဝင်ရောက် စီးနင်းဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။ ထို့အပြင် ၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလ (၅) ရက်နေ့တွင်လည်း ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ်၏ ဇနီးဖြစ်သူ ဒေါ်ခင်စောလှိုင်နှင့် (၂)နှစ် အရွယ်ခန့်သာရှိသေးသည့် သားငယ်တို့အားလည်း ဖမ်းဆီးခဲ့‌ကြောင်းကြားသိရပါသည်။ ယခု စစ်ကောင်စီမှ ဖမ်းဆီးထားသည့် ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ်မှာ သဘာဝပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ထိန်းသိမ်းရေးနှင့် လူ့အ ခွင့်အရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များကို တစိုက်မတ်မတ်လုပ်ဆောင်နေသူဖြစ်ပြီး၊ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးချိန်မှစ၍ အကြမ်း မဖက်သည့်နည်းလမ်းဖြင့် ဒီမိုကရေစီနှင့် လူ့အခွင့်အရေးအတွက်ဆောင်ရွက်နေသူဖြစ်သည်။ ထို့အပြင် သူ၏ဇနီး နှင့် ကလေးငယ်အား ဖမ်းဆီးထိန်းသိမ်းထားခြင်းမှာ လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ စံနှုံန်းများနှင့်များစွာ သွေဖီပြီး အကျည်းတန်သည့် လုပ်ရပ်ဖြစ်သည်ဟုလည်း မိမိတို့ ရှုမြင်မိပါသည်။ ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ်သည် MATA အဖွဲ့ဝင်တဦးဖြစ်သည့်အပြင် (MEITI) ၏ သုံးပွင့်ဆိုင်အဖွဲ့ ဝင်တဦး လည်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ MATA သည် တွင်းထွက် သဘာဝသယံဇာတဆိုင်ရာ ပွင့်လင်းမြင်သာ မှု လုပ်ငန်းစဉ် (EITI-Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative) အား အကောင်ထည်ဖော်သည့် အရပ်ဘက် မဟာမိတ်အဖွဲ့ အစည်း တခုဖြစ်ပြီး အဖွဲ့စည်းပေါင်း (၄၀၀) ကျော်ဖြင့်ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသည့် မဟာမိတ်အဖွဲ့အစည်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ်သည် စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းဒေသကြီး မှ MATA အဖွဲ့ဝင်အဖြစ် ပါဝင်သူတဦး ဖြစ်ပြီး EITI (သဘာဝ သယံဇာတဆိုင်ရာ ပွင့်လင်းမြင်သာမှုဖော်ဆောင်ရေး) လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်တွင် သုံးပွင့်ဆိုင်ညွန့်ပေါင်းအဖွဲ့ MSG (Multi Stakeholder Group) အဖွဲ့ဝင်တဦးလည်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သို့ဖြစ်ပါ၍ ဒီမိုကရေစီပြန်လည်ရရှိရေးအတွက် အကြမ်းမဖက်သောနည်းဖြင့် ဆောင်ရွက်နေသည့် ကိုကျော်မင်းထွဋ် အပါအဝင် ဖမ်းဆီးထိန်းသိမ်းထားသည့် နိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားများ အားလုံးအား ရာဇဝတ်သား များကဲ့သို့ပြုမူဆက်ဆံခြင်းများမပြုလုပ်ဘဲ ချွင်းချက်မရှိပြန်လည်လွှတ်ပေးရန်နှင့် အာဏာသိမ်းသည့်လုပ်ရပ် အားအမြန်ဆုံးရပ်တန့်ရန် အလေးအနက်တိုက်တွန်း လိုက်သည်။..."
