Victims and witnesses have had the opportunity to speak out and reach a wider audience and we wish to spread their voices and the situation to the international community, but also to the rest of Burma who seem to have forgotten about their people in the west who are still dealing with the impact of cyclone Giri two years on. The damage and the role of the local population in the relief and recovery effort has been recorded so that these stories are not forgotten.
