''1. On and after the 1st April, 1941, Schedule I of India Act II of 1899. as in force in Burma on the 1st September, 1935, shall have effect as Schedule I of this Act. 2. In this Act. unless there is something repugnant in the subject or context,— . (/) “ banker ” includes a bank and any person acting as a banker: (2) “ bill of exchange ” means a bill of exchange as defined by the Negotiable Instruments Act, and includes also a liundi. and any other document entitling or purporting to entitle any person...''
