Dhaka, January 19: "Appeals written by the Diasporas Arakanese Community for the detainees held by India?s government, on India?s Andaman Island, has been sent to several government heads as well as the international community in hopes of helping to avoid a handover of the Arakanese detainees to Burma?s military government. The detainees in question are likely to be freed from jail this month but India?s government may hand them over to the SPDC, Burma?s ruling military junta..." For this reason the Diasporas Arakanese Community is anxious for their fate, as they predict that they may face the death sentence in Burma.
