New foreign minister in Burma
A new foreign minister has been appointed in Burma as part of a reshuffle of
posts in the military-run government.
The ruling State Peace and Development Committee says he's the Burmese
ambassador to Britain, U Win Aung.
He replaces U Ohn Gyaw, who is retiring.
A number of new deputy ministers have also been appointed to the government.
The changes come exactly a year after the ruling junta changed its name and
sacked a number of generals from the government for alleged corruption.
Observers say there is little indication in the latest appointments of any
dramatic change in policy.
