2007:
Utilization of Seasonal Flowers in
Common Health Problems..."...From this compilation programme, medicinal uses of flowers which are
obtainable seasonally were already documented in ancient Myanmar traditional
medicine literatures. Practical uses, nowadays, are commonly used traditional
medicine for well-being so called Thway-say, usually prescribed as blood tonic and
blood purifier.
It is recommended that seasonal flowers should be collected at the time of
flowering and should be stored for family uses and manufacturing purposes.
It is also suggested to do scientific research works on Myanmar seasonal
flowers while the AROMA therapy is becoming popular in the world by the
application of aromatic flowers.
We expected that our tremendous efforts lead to a noble documentation in
honour of Myanmar cultural and traditional heritage. On the other hand this document
would be beneficial for Myanmar people..."
