The NUG is grateful for the commitment of the US government in providing immediate and timely humanitarian support to the people of Myanmar. The junta has been indiscriminately targeting civilians and villages with the use of heavy weapons and artillery air strikes that result in increased displacements with large humanitarian assistance needs. The support from the USAID will greatly benefit those who are in need of humanitarian assistance across the country.
