on Lido Road, Deputy
Minister for Construction
U Soe Tint said that the
Northern Royal Jade Company
has proposed upgrading
the road into a 4-lane
asphalt road and the company
will be permitted to
do so if the proposal is in
accord with the BOT system.
As for the castor oil
plantations, Deputy Minister
for Agriculture and Irrigation
U Ohn Than said
a pilot project in Thazi is
being implemented to use
castor oil for production of
diesel in accordance with
Kyoto Protocol to reduce
