hall in Nay Pyi
Taw on Wednesday. With regard to the question raised by U Maung Aye Tun of
Rakhine State Constituency No 9 whether there is a plan to adopt arrangements for farmless and
homeless persons as part of effort to ensure poverty alleviation, Deputy Minister for
Livestock,
Fisheries and Rural Development U Tin Ngwe replied that the region and state governments
coordinate to allot land plots to farmless and homeless persons under the town plans and village
plans and release some confiscated farmlands to the owners..."
