" Nay Pyi Taw, 19 June — The 67th day meeting the 12th regular session of Pyithu Hluttaw (Lower House) held on Friday, with members of Union-level organizations responding to questions parliamentarians. On a question by Mahlaing Constituency representative U Aye Mauk on whether a plan to return the apartments which have been nationalized to own-ers in accord with the provisions of the Constitutions and a document released by the government, Deputy Minister for Cooperatives U Than Tun replied that the President, in accord with the law, is unable to hand over the apartments and buildings that have been taken for public purpose in the time of the new government and the ministry has no plan to return the nationalized apartments to the original owners in accord with the document. The original owners are being given priority to buy back the nationalized property and buildings as the property of the State go on sale by a property management committee in accord with rules and regulations, he added. New Myanmar Territorial Sea and Maritime Zones Law is currently in draft form and seeking comments from the Attorney- General?s Office of the Union, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin answered a question of Pyinmana Constituency Pyithu Hluttaw representative U Hla Myint Oo. Upon completion of the new legislation, submission of the draft law will be made for the approval of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw in accord with the rules and regulations, the deputy minister added. During the session, U Khin Maung Shwe, member of the Pyithu Hluttaw Bill Committee, informed the MPs of acceptance of the Protection and Preservation of Ancient Artefacts draft law sent back by Amyotha Hluttaw with some amendments."
