"Nay Pyi Taw, 27 Jan — The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw held sixth day session on Tuesday, with Union-level
members from ministries concerned making the presentation of projects and budgetary matters
included in National Planning Bill for 2015-2016 FY and 2015 Union Budget Bill.
Deputy Minister for Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development Dr Aung Myat Oo clarified works to
be done for meat and fish production and targets, rural infrastructure development focusing on road and
bridge construction, community-based building, water supply and sanitation, electrification, sustainable
career development and promotion of livestock breeding sector.
In his presentation, Deputy Minister for Communications and Information Technology U Win Than
explained matters related to revenue and expenditure, loan and the ministry?s aim to increase the
countrywide telephone density from 75 percent to 80 percent in 2015-2016 FY.
Highlighting the procedures that support effective resource allocation and taxation, Union Minister for
Finance U Win Shein reported on abolition of financial rules and regulations which are unsuitable to
the present situation, measures for developing the banking system of Myanmar Economic Bank, the
ministry?s budget for 2015-2016 FY and foreign loans and interests.
Deputy Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security U Htin Aung also presented the
ministry?s budgetary matters including capital expenditure for the purchase of construction materials
and machinery. The seventh day session continues tomorrow."
