The Third Anglo - Burmese War bagan on 15 November 1885 when General Prendergast and his army occupied the
Upper Burma border area, Minhla and Gwe Chaung within two days. General Prendergast planned well for the operation
as he had detailed intelligence about these area. The author observed that Myanmar?s hospitality and generous manner is
