"At 9:30 am local time, the
State Counsellor received the
United States National Security
Advisor at the Sapphire 104 of
the same venue about promoting
bilateral relations, fighting narcotic
drugs, trafficking in persons,
prevention and combating of illegal
trading in wildlife, continued
promotion of bilateral cooperation
including consular matters,
efforts being made to accept the
displaced persons from Rakhine
State in accordance with the bilateral
agreement, and cooperation
with UNHCR and UNDP which
are UN agencies.
They also exchanged views
in an open and cordial manner
on areas of mutual interest in
regional and international affairs.
These meetings were attended by
Union Ministers U Thaung Tun
and U Kyaw Tin..."
