"A team of local and foreign journalists
yesterday visited the Kainggyi
(Mro) Village and Indin
Village in Maungtaw Township.
During their visit to the two
villages, they interviewed the
villagers.
In the evening, they returned
Yangon through Sittwe
by air.
The group included mediapersons
from Courrier Japon,
Nishinippon Shimbun, Nippon
TV, VOA, BBC, MRTV, MITV,
MIR, and MNA.
This is the 34th visit by mediapersons
to Maungtaw. They
have visited the township once
in 2016, eight times in 2017, 20
times in 2018, and five times so
far this year.."
