"...From the above it is obvious that the Union Solidarity and Development Association which is purely a social welfare organisation is being used in intelligence service and given administrative powers. Forcibly taking whomever they want as hostages is a criminal offence. These offences are being perpetrated against all Youth Wing members who have committed no offence whatsoever in all townships and we forcefully and thoroughly condemn them. We demand that all those captives be immediately released."
