Description:
"1. A letter from the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs addressed to the
Chairman of the National League for Democracy was received today which
purported to be an "invitation" to meet him on the 8th August, 1998.
2. The League's views on this matter are as hereunder:-
(a) The chairman should be properly informed about the subject
matter and the reason for such invitation. An "invitation"
to meet is insufficient..."
