Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has not accepted any food or visitors for 9 days. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi?s daily food supply is delivered to her house each day, but the last day Daw Aung San Suu Kyi accepted the food was 15 August 2008. If Daw Aung San Suu Kyi continues to refuse food from her comrades, her health will be of serious concern. Two people living with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi are also refusing food. The international community?s immediate action is necessary. During UN Special Envoy Mr. Ibrahim Gambari?s recent six day visit to Burma, Mr. Gambari met with authorities from the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC), diplomats, personnel from SPDC-crony organizations, and leaders from the National League for Democracy (NLD). However, Mr. Gambari did not meet with any top officials from the SPDC or with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
