Message on the 73rd anniversary of Karen revolution day

Description:

"Today is the 73rd Karen Revolution Day, which shows 73 years of struggle and bravery of the Karen people. The whole nation of Myanmar is united with the Karen people for the 73 years of struggle, for freedom, for self-determination, for federal democracy. The last 73 years of Karen’s sacrifice for freedom and the new Myanmar are appreciated by Myanmar. And today, we all have come together and united against authoritarianism and military dictatorship. We, together with Karen, have solidified our determinations to defeat this Junta and eradicate the military dictatorship once and for all, and replace the Tatmadaw with a modern military of Myanmar, a Federal Army. Once we do that, the second step will be to write the Constitution of Myanmar based on Federal democratic principles and self-determination for all the people of Myanmar, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, culture, and gender. And thirdly, together with our Karen brothers and sisters, revolutionaries, and visionary people, we will start building the Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar, where we all will be accessible to our future. We will all be free to our dreams. That’s where the peace, prosperity, and tomorrow is waiting for all the people of Myanmar. We thank all Karen people for all they have done for the last 73 years, and we cannot show enough appreciation to our hero’s martyrs for their sacrifices. They have been the frontline of our freedom and defenders of democracy for the last 73 years. For that, we thank you. May God bless the Karen people; may God bless the Karen Land..."
