Description: 

Draft decision: "1. The Governing Body notes that while progress has been made, a number of fundamental activities required under the Action Plan for the Elimination of Forced Labour in Myanmar by 2015 have not yet been implemented. In that context the Governing Body: (a) requests the Director-General to prepare a report for consideration at the November 2015 session of the Governing Body on the implementation and possible need for extension of the Action Plan, the status of any outstanding individual cases including those specifically referred to in the report, and steps necessary to ensure prosecution and accountability of those who have exacted forced labour; and (b) calls on the Government of Myanmar to take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with the Forced Labour Convention, 1930 (No. 29), and requests the Government to submit, in November 2015, a report on the measures it will take to do so in the shortest possible time."
