"In April 2019, the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing, launching a new journey of the joint construction of the Belt and Road with high quality. In the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the forum, President Xi Jinping pointed out that we should work together for high-quality development of the Belt and Road cooperation, fully implement the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, pursue open, green and clean cooperation, and follow a high-standard, people-oriented and sustainable approach.
