IN his first major speech since being
appointed Prime Minister, General Khin Nyunt has outlined a
“road map” for democratisation in Myanmar. Speaking at Pyithu
Hlattaw (Parliament House) last Saturday ahead of an address
to the nation, General Khin Nyunt said the road map would pave
the way for “fair elections.”They would follow the reconvening
of the National Convention to draft a constitution as the
