THE clash between supporters and opponents of the National League for Democracy in Sagaing Division on May 30 was a “set back” for the national reconciliation process, the Foreign Minister, U Win Aung, said last week.

TWO regional meetings of national significance thrust Myanmar under the spotlight last week in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.

The annual meeting of foreign ministers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations was followed by a gathering of wider global significance, the ASEAN Regional Forum.
