1. We have received information that a No-confidence Shouting Demonstration on 7 December 1999, was deceitfully planned and staged by a group of people against U Htoon Kywe, NLD Member of Parliament for Constituency 2, Nyaunglebin township, Pegu Division.

2. Organised and directed by the respective authorities, the illegal and sham Shouting Demonstration was held at the Pyuntaza Sports Field and the following persons were the key performers:-
· Master of Ceremonies - U Kyaw Myint, cultivator from Chaung-yin village.
· Presenter of paper bearing signatures - U Mya Thoung, cultivator from Aye-ywa.
· Paper accepted by - U Tin Zaw Win, Chairman of Branch office of Township Elections Commission.

3. We have received information that a No-confidence Shouting Demonstration on
10 December 1999, was staged by a group of people against U Chit Maung, NLD Member of Parliament for Htan-ta-bin township, Pegu Division.

4. Those persons who followed the instructions and wishes of the authorities in that sham and willful violation of law demonstration were:-
· Master of Ceremonies - U Thein Han, cultivator from Sa ba gyi village,
· Presenter of paper bearing signatures - U Kyaw Soe, cultivator from Ohnbin, Mya Thoung.
· Paper accepted by - U Soe Than, Chairman of Branch office of Township Elections Commission.

5. We have received information that a No-confidence Shouting Demonstration (having no illegal authority) on
20 December 1999, was staged in the Myoma Sports Field and at Tawa village by a group of people against U Tin Tun Aung, NLD Member of Parliament for Constituency 2, Yin-ma-bin township, Sagaing Division.

6 At this violation of law function the following key players were-
· Master of Ceremonies - Cultivators U Htoo and U Khin Maung Htay
· Presenter of paper bearing signatures - U Paw Soe, Retired Trade Department civil servant and cultivator U Nyein Aung
· Paper accepted by -U Myint Than and U Khin Maung Tin, Members of Branch office of Township Elections Commission.

7. We have received information that a No-confidence Shouting Demonstration (violating the rule of law) on
26 December 1999, was staged at Ohn-ne village by a group of people in compliance with the wishes of the authorities against Dr. Myo Win, NLD Member of Parliament for Constituency 1, Kawa township, Pegu Division.

8. The key performers in that illegal shouting match were
· Master of Ceremonies - U Tin Aye, trader
· Presenter of paper bearing signatures - U Soe Thein, cultivator The-din village
· Paper accepted by -U Khin Nyo, Chairman of Branch office of Township Elections Commission.

9. We have received information that a No-confidence Shouting Demonstrations (violating the rule of law) on 8 December 1999, were staged at Tintha, Kyawywa, Natchaung, Htaukkyan and Thazi villages by groups in compliance with the wishes of the authorities against U Thein Win, NLD Member of Parliament for Constituency 2, Kalemyo township, Sagaing Division.

10 The key performers in those illegal shouting demonstrations were
· Master of Ceremonies - Cultivators U Myint Aung, Daw Khin May Win, U KHin Maung, U htay Lay and U Maung Cho.
· Presenter of papers bearing signatures - Cultivators U Swe Pe, U Maung Ko, U San Po, U Ba Than, U Kyaw Sein and U Sein Pe.
· Paper accepted by -U Nyein, U Myint Way and U Khin Maung Aye, (Members of the Branch office of Township Elections Commission.

11. We have received information that a No-confidence Shouting Demonstration, was staged on 21 January 2000 to comply with the wishes of the authorities at the Magwe Sports Field and in the Nyaung kan village tract by groups against U U Kyaw Myint, NLD Member of Parliament for Constituency 1, Magwe township, Magwe Division.

12. The key performers in those false and shameful shouting demonstrations were
· Masters of Ceremonies - U Myo, trader from Myintha ward and U Kyaw Win, battery manufacturer from Nyaung kan village.
· Presenters of paper bearing signatures - U Tin Hal, trader from Myohaung Ward and U Aung Kyaing from Nyaungkan village.
· Paper accepted by - Chairman U Mya Than, and Member and Legal officer U Saw David, of the Branch office of Township Elections Commission.

13. We hereby make this notification that the illegal demonstrations orchestrated and staged to deceive and mislead the electorates are activities in violation of the rule of law. Those authorities and key players in the shouting demonstrations, those who acted as masters of ceremonies, those who presented papers with signatures alleged to be made by the electorate, and those recipients of such papers are offenders of the law and as such they have achieved nothing that is valid or acceptable by law.
