1. The news received is that a group of
people participated in a shouting function for the purpose of expressing loss
of confidence in U Khin Maung Than and U Thant Zin,
NLD MPs elect for Constitutency 1 and 2 of Kanee township, Sagaing Division respectively. We are told
that the community loathes and is disgusted because of lies and the deceitful
and misleading manner in which the participants of the function were
manipulated by the chairman of the Kanee PDC, to the
extent of even shouting and proclaiming that this was "
national duty".

withdrawal of support function against U Khin Maung Than (MP elect for
constituency (1) was held at the village tracts of Ta-Bone (a) Ta-baung-oke and Sule-kone on

(3) U Kaung Tin (ex
military).
The
organisers were

The
speaker to the no-confidence motion was U Than Maung (Taung-pa-lin village).
Our
information is that there was no one supported the motion.
At
the function held in Sule-kone village tract the MCs

5. At
Chaung-ma village tract the MC was U Kyaw Tin while
the organiser was U Sein Pho
(Thin Win village). Speaker to the motion was U Aye Maung (Thin -win village)
and no supporters of the motion.
6. All
the boats, sampans, motor boats and motor vehicles were commandeered on the day
and the villagers were forced to start at

they arrived at the meeting places and realized that it was a ruse some were
infuriated and left immediately while others sat through the meeting with
indifference. We have also heard that some villages were aware of this
duplicity and did not go to the meeting.
We have been told that these villages had to pay penalties of kyats ten thousand to the military intelligence and USDA.
8. We
have been informed that the same thing was done to U Than
Aung Htay, (NLD MP elect of No 1 constituency Ye-u
township, Shwebo district, Sagaing Division.). No-confidence functions were staged in the
playgrounds of Ma-daing-bin, Indaw and Ta-ma-taw
villages and in the Trade and Agricultural compound at Ye-U-kone
village. The residents of the locality
were threatened, pressured and forced to attend. Those who organized and assisted in the
accomplishment of these functions are violators of the law.
9. The
no-confidence shouting function against NLD MP elect U Bo Htwe
(Constituency 1,Natmauk township, Magwe Division) was
staged by coercion and force at Aik-kauk village
tract we are informed. The speaker to
the motion was U Chit, cultivator from Twingyi
village; the presenter of the document with signatures was U Man Maung , cultivator from Aik-kauk
village and the document was accepted by U Htoon Aye,
Multi-party elections commission chairman. These people and the organisers who assisted in the performance and
accomplishment of these functions are violators of the law.

The no-confidence shouting function
against NLD MP elect U Aung Myint Thein
(Constituency 2,Natmauk township, Magwe Division) was
staged by coercion and force at Ban-kone village
tract we are informed. The speaker to
the motion was U Bo Tun, cultivator from Kan-gyi-kone
village; the presenter of the document with signatures was U Thein Htaik, cultivator from Ban-kone village and the document was accepted by U Aung Sein,
Township Immigration Officer (member of the township election commission).
These people and the organisers who assisted in the performance
and accomplishment of this function are violators of the law.
11. At
another shouting function held at Ka-baung-kone
village tract the speaker to the motion was U Aung Soe,
cultivator of this village, document presenter was U Sein Lwin of the same
village, and accepter was U Soe Thein,
township judge and member of the sub-committee of the multiparty elections
commission. These people and the organisers who
assisted in the performance and accomplishment of this function are violators
of the law.
12. We
believe that the township authorities instigated and forced the people to stage
a no-confidence shouting function against NLD representative U Kyaw Win of
Constituency No 2 in Kyaukse township, Mandalay
Division.
At
the function in Nyaung-shwe village the speaker to
the motion was one U Nyunt Hlaing, the presenter of
the document with signatures was one U Aye Thein and
the acceptor was one U Win Aung, member of the sub committee of the multiparty
elections commission.
At
the function in Minzu village the speaker to the
motion was one U Myint, the presenter of the document
with signatures was one U Mya Thein and the acceptor
was one U Zaw Min, member of the sub committee of the multiparty elections
commission. All these people and the organisers who
assisted in the performance and accomplishment of these functions are violators
of the law.
13. We
have been informed that the authorities ordered the staging of shouting no-confidence functions against U Bala (NLD MP elect of Constituency1, Ah-ya-daw
township, Sagaing Division) and these took place in the village tracts of Ma-gyi-kan, Kyun-daw, Naung Aing-gyi, Wa-taw-ma and Oke-shi-kyi.
14. At
the function in Ma-gyi-tan village tract the speaker
to the motion was one U Lay Maung (trader from this village), the presenter of
the document with signatures was one U Thoung Chit
and the acceptor was one U Ba Myint,
member of the sub committee of the multiparty elections commission.
At
the function in Kyun-daw village tract the speaker to
the motion was one U Myint Swe
(cultivator from Oke-shi-kyi village), the presenter
of the document with signatures was one U Myint Than
and the acceptor was one U Tin San, member of the Township sub committee of the
multiparty elections commission.
At
the function in Naung-aing-gyi village tract, the
speaker to the motion was one U Pye Aye of the
village, the presenter of the document with signatures was one U Chit Thein of Bone-let-kha village and
the acceptor was one U Hla Kyi, member of the
Township sub committee of the multiparty elections commission
At
the function in Wa-taw-ma village tract the speaker to the motion was one U Htay Maung,retired
school teacher, the presenter of the document with signatures was one U Kyaw
Aye, cultivator of Ye-yone village, and the acceptor
was one U Man Hla, member of the township sub
committee of the multiparty elections commission
At
the function in Oke-she-kyi village tract the speaker
to the motion was one U Shwe Win cultivator of the same village, the presenter
of the document with signatures was one U Aung Than, and the acceptor was one U
Aung Hla, member of the township sub committee of the
multiparty elections commission. All
these people and their associates are law breakers.
15. We
make this notification that all those who have conspired and actively
participated in accomplishing such illegal activities have breached the law and
displayed their inclination to dismantle the RULE OF LAW. They will be held accountable for the
consequences of their actions. We condemn the deceit and fraudulent practices
they have forced on the people.
