Alternative chairmen of National Convention plenary session meet

YANGON, 31 Aug — The members of the panel of alternative chairmen of the Plenary Session of

the National Convention held a coordination meeting at the meeting hall of the National

Convention Convening Work Committee at Kyaikkasan Grounds here this morning.

At the meeting, Dr Myo Thant Tin acted as alternative chairman.

It was attended by members of the panel of alternative chairmen Daw Khin Nu, U Tun Yin Law, U

Yaw Aye Hla, U Maung Hla (a) U Hla Myint, U Mya Aye, Dr U Thein Oo Po Saw and Maj-Gen

Aung Thein. Joint-Secretary-2 Dr U Thaung Myint of the NCC Work Committee, members U Ba

Han and U San Tun, Director of the Office of the Work Committee U Than Aung, and others.At the

meeting, discussions were made for the compilation and securitization of the data collected by the

panel of alternative chairmen from the papers submitted by the eight delegate groups in respect of

the distribution of legislative power at the National Convention held from 17 May to 9 July so as to

submit them to the National Convention by the time it is reconvened.

The meeting came to an end in the afternoon.
