NC delegates visit Drug Elimination Museum, MRTV

YANGON, 3 July — Delegates to the National Convention visited Drug Elimination Museum and Myanma Radio and Television this morning.
Accompanied by officials of the Invitation and Accommodation Sub-committee, the delegates left Nyaunghnapin Camp at 6 am and arrived at Drug Elimination Museum at the corner of Hanthawady and Kyundaw Streets in Kamayut Township.
On behalf of the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control, in-charge of the museum Deputy Director Police Lt-Col Hse Maung extended greetings and explained facts about the museum and plans being implemented for drugs elimination.
The delegates visited the booths on endeavours of narcotic drugs elimination as the national duty being carried out by successive governments from monarchical era to date.
At MRTV, Director-General U Khin Maung Htay, Deputy Director-General U Thein Aung and officials welcomed the delegates.
Next, Director-General U Khin Maung Htay explained functions and duty of MRTV. In the studio-D, they viewed recording of songs of vocalist May Barani Khaing, Ye Yint Wai Lwin and Thida Moe and the drama.
In the studio-1, they viewed telecasting of the drama. Next, they observed telecasting of songs of vocalists Sein Moh Moh and Khin Nan Yu Htwe at the studio-2. At 10.30 am, they left MRTV.

Film entertainment to National Convention delegates

Yangon, 4 July - The Entertainment and Welfare Subcommittee of the National Convention Convening Management Committee is organizing entertainment programmes for delegates to the National Convention daily at the gymnasium of Nyaunghnapin Camp.

Yesterday evening, the delegates were entertained with a film entitled "Hnaung Ta Myae Myae" directed by Thet Maung Maung and starring Yan Aung, Soe Thu, Tun Eindra Bo and San Shar Tin.
