Commission held a meeting at the Commission Office this afternoon. It was
attended by Chairman of the National Convention Convening Commission Maj-Gen Saw Lwin, Vice-Chairmen Maj-Gen
Sein Htwa and Brig-Gen Pyi Sone and members. The National Convention Convening Work
Committee and the National Convention Convening Management Committee presented
reports pertaining to the National Convention, followed by a general round of

held its meeting in the hall of NCCC at 2 pm
today. Present on the occasion were Chairman NCCC Maj
Gen Saw Lwin, Vice Chairmen Gen Pyi Sone and members. First, Chairman Maj-Gen
Saw Lwin delivered an address.Officials of National

Commission held its meeting at the meeting hall of NCCC this afternoon,

Myanmar
delegation leaves for SRV
Yangon, 6 Sept 2002 - A Myanmar special observers group led
by Chairman of the National Convention Convening Work committee U Aung Toe this
morning left here by air for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to attend the
23rd ASEAN Parliament Work Committee and General Conference to be held in Hanoi
from 6 to 13 September 2002. They were seen off at Yangon International Airport
by Chairman of the National Convention Convening Commission Maj-
Gen Saw Lwin, Attorney- General U Tha Tun, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme
Court U Than 00, Deputy Attorney-General U Khin Maung Aye, Judges of the
Supreme Court U Myint Thein
and U Tun Shin, Vietnamese Ambassador Mr Pham Quang Khon, officials of the
Supreme Court and the NCCC and their families. Chairman of the NCCWC U Aung Toe
was accompanied by member of NCCC U Aye Maung and Joint-Secretary of the NCCWC
U Thaung Nyunt.
