Three Pagoda-Thanpyuzayart route from transporting
oil

In this year, the small four
wheels car in Three Pagoda-Thanpyuzayart route stop
transporting oil to Burma because the
oil price getting down and the tax also getting increased.
In Three Pagoda-Thanpyuzayart road more than two hundreds four
wheels car routing and especially these car are transporting oil, people and
materials
“We do not want to carry the
oil because we have no benefit on it and we get just nine hundred kyat for a
can and we also have to pay 75% for the
tax from this amount money to pass 20 check point with out interrupting along
the road ,”said a group of four wheels car owner.
Last year, oil trader paid
1400 kyat for a can to the car owner for transportation cost from Three Pagoda
to Thanpyuzayart and the oil price had 12000 kyat a
can.
The four wheels car only has
to pay 500 kyat to fifteen checkpoints in last year and this year five more
checkpoints based in along the road and increased 200 kyat more tax for a can.
Now the oil price about 300
kyat get down because of more and more oil trader imported a lot of oil in
Burma and made the trader cannot pay to four wheels car like last year and
preferred to use the truck that they
have to pay cheaper than they use four wheel cars .
“The truck owner can
transport with this amount because they can carry 1000 oil can and the tax also
cheaper than while they use four wheel cars, so they have big amount benefit,”
said the groups.
The four wheels car owner
said if they transport the oil, they only benefit just 25000 kyat. Last year,
they benefited about 70000 kyat for one time they said.

carries the oil to get some money to pay for the car tax while they take the
car to in side

The car owners
paid ten thousands kyat for one wheel to the Burmese Government
army base along the route at the
beginning road opened and every time they have to pay money to the government
army’s point ,three Karen armed group,
and government migration’s check point when they routing.
Currently,these cars are only routing
for transport people and trade some plastic goods, onions, tomato and chill.
