It is unlikely that a photo essay on deforestation, atrocities, etc, could be
achieved by taking SLORC guided tour of Burma in Feb 1996. I would suggest
you contact some folks around Mae Sot, Thailand for some suggestions on
getting accurate and detailed information. Start with Kevin Heppner, Dr.
Cynthia and Pastor Robert. Atrocities are also occurring along the Western
border in the Chin State and in the Arakan. There are several groups who
could assist. More information available upon request.
