OSI Internship Program
The Open Society Institute is pleased to announce that it is seeking
applications from organizations for an Internship Program. The program
aims to assist local and international NGOs and organizations in
providing opportunities for Burmese people to gain hands-on training in
fields of their interest. Organizations may apply for funding to host an
intern for a period of six months. The selection of an intern and the
work he/she will be doing are to be proposed by the host organization
(see applications for details). The choice of the individual intern is
entirely up to the organization provided that the selection process is
free and fair.
We are looking for organizations that have the capacity to provide a
learning environment, while at the same time will benefit from an intern
s contribution. Host organizations should have the time to provide basic
relevant training for the intern and also be able to equip him/her with
skills that will be useful beyond the period of the internship.
Organizations are expected to take full responsibility for their intern.
If you are an organization interested in receiving the application form
or have any questions and would like to find out more about this
program, please contact: archives@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or by fax at: 66 53

The application is also available on the burma project website at:
