New York Times Loves TotalFina's US

Subject: New York Times Loves TotalFina's US Pension Funds

Hey NY people out there, or others who read the NYTimes, why didnt you
post the story in yesterday's Sunday New York Times, the french here,
Liberation newspaper, says there was a page and a half article on "the
French fear" of US pension funds, the sort of which have taken over
TotalFina shareholder representation transforming this once French
company into an international, most anglosaxon owned corporate entity.
The NYTimes article talks about Total, talks about Elf, talks about what
I have been telling you for so long, and now, get this, the nice US
ambassador, yours truly Monsieur Felix Rohatyn, the former ITT
pro-Pinochet chap, nice guy, he's going to hold soon a conference in
Paris, soemthing or other to promote US pension fund investment, and
correct all those misplaced fears of French culture that feels
threatened, and overcome, by the post-Seattle international market
capitalisation which of course, has made Rohatyn a millionaire so many
times over you couldnt begin to count it...

nice guy Rohatyn, wonder what he thinks about those nice Argentinian
generals who tortured and killed dissident mothers, then adopted their
babies, only if they were white, the others were disposed of...Total has
made it big in Argentinia under the watchful eyes of the generals.

Thanks Felix, thats Thierry. Both nice guys, they probably get along now
famously, hand in hand with US pension Funds. Or, thanks to NYT too.
