Seven condemned
The Criminal Court yesterday handed down the death sentence on seven men =
found guilty of importing 74,000 methamphetamine pills with intent to =
sell.
They were Chart Sithiphat, 28, Atthapol Klinthawee, 33, Boonlue Suphan, =
42, Pol Sgt Prathuan Muangmoh, 32, a border patrol policeman, Sgt =
Paiboon Saenthawee, 49, an airman, and two Burmese nationals identified =
as On We, 33, and Kyaw U, 25.
The seven were arrested on Jun 19 in Mae Ramat district, Tak, after they =
smuggled the speed pills from Burma.
