anyway, the french have some 20 000 frenchies there, and over a half
billion dollars investment, and front page stories are saying how the
world bank and IMF -(highlevel imf official is from there) failed.

just to let you know. with the total fina black sea tide, today's 160
mile an hour storm winds over half of france -knocked out my electricity
for twelve hours and tore out ten 90 foot pine trees behind the
house,missed the house!, now the french lose another colony. the french
are getting the message that gaullism is dead, and just in the last few
weeks three top former gaullist ministers, including de gaulle's last
premier minister, couve du murville, died. end of the century gaullist
blues. by the way, chirac called couve du murville "the voice of french
diplomacy"! they are the crowd who gave you Yadana! remember that.
