You are cordially invited to the Karen New Year Day Reception that falls on
Wednesday, the 29th of December 1999. The reception will be held according
to the following programmes.

1. Opening of the Karen New Year Occasion 1pm- 2pm
2.Karen New Year Luncheon 2pm-3pm
3.Entertainment Programme 3pm-5pm
     Karen National Traditional  Dance and Modern Rock Concert presented by ZZ

The Karen New Year Day will be held  with  the following objectives.

To make an awareness about the origin of the Karen New Year Day and the
History of the Karen nationals.

To hold the First and Foremost Karen New Year Day in Midwest with pride and
honour.

To have a reunion with the Karen Nationals from Canada,Australia and in the
United States.

To promote the Human Rights situation in the Karen State where SPDC, the
ruling military junta has been violating human rights against the Karen
nationals.
