Myanmar Naval Chief arrives India

Myanmar Navy Chief arrives.

New Delhi, Nov: 15.

The Commander-in-chief of Myanmar Navy ,Vice Admiral Nyunt Thein,
arrived in the capital with a high-level- delegation today.

During talks with the Naval Chief , Admiral Sushil Kumar, both sides
agree to look at possible areas of cooperation in the field of training
and conduct of joint exercises. The visit is seen here as part of
India's "look east" policy which revolves around expending links with
the south-east Asian countries. Vice Admiral Nyunt Thein, will visit
naval establishments and institutions in Mumbai and Kochi.
