(1)  Deputy C-in-C of Defence Services Meets Vietnamese Deputy Chief of Staff
        
     Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief 
(Army) General Maung Aye met the Vietnamese People's Army delegation led by 
Deputy
Chief of Staff Lt-Gen Nguyen Huy Hieu, at the guest house of the Ministry of 
Defence on 13 November. 

(2)  Japanese War Veterans Donate Cash to ITBMU
        
     War veterans Mr Take Saburo Mashimo and Dr Tasuku Iida of Japan donated 
cash  for International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University at Dhammapala
Hill in Mayangon Township, Yangon on 13 November. Minister for Religious 
Affairs accepted the donation and presented a certificate of honour to the 
donors. The well-wishers visited the University.

(3)  Contract Signed to Permanently Hand Over Antimony Smelting Plant
        
     A ceremony to sign contract between No 3 Mining Enterprise (ME) of the 
Ministry of Mines and Myanmar Mayflower Mining Enterprise (MMME) for 
permanently
handing over Antimony Smelting Plant of Kalaw, Southern Shan State, was held 
at the Ministry, on 14 November. Managing Directors No 3 ME and MMME signed
the contract. 

(4)  Asia Wealth Bank Ltd Opens Branch in Mogok
        
     Asia Wealth Bank(AWB) Ltd opened its branch in Mogok, Mandalay Division 
on 12 November. Local Commander, Chairman of the Central Bank of Myanmar and
Chairman and Vice-Chairman of AWB formally opened the branch.
