India and Burma sign agreement

Kohima:  : India and Burma on Saturday agreed to strengthen bilateral
ties by extending pro-active cooperation on security environment and
trade and commerce.
  Both neighbours signed the agreed minutes at the end of the three-day
Indo-Burma sectoral level meeting here. Joint secretary (northeast) home
ministry G.K Pillai signed the document encompassing ten specific
issues. Deputy director general of Burmese home ministry Maune Win
signed it on their behalf. (PTI)
