ABSDF member arrested and shot dead extra-juditially by IB 105

A member of ABSDF from northern Burma, Bran Aung (a) Htay Lwin Oo, 28, was
arrested and extra-judicial killed by SPDC IB 105 at Phakant area on November
3.

Htay Lwin Oo was arrested on October 28th at Phakant jade mine area by a
column
from IB 105 lead by Cap. Aung Naing Htun. Htay Lwin Oo didn't hold any arm or
ammunition when he was arrested. He was then put in a cell at a police
station.
He was brutally tortured and interrogated by soldiers and Military
Intelligence
for 6 days at the police station.

On the seventh day on 3rd November, a section from IB  105 lead by Captain
Aung
Naing Htun came to the police station, tied him tight and brought him to the
near by jungle. When they got near a burn firm, Sergeant Zaw Tint from the
section shot him with his gun for four shots. Bran Aung (a) Htay Lwin Oo was
expired with these gunshot injuries on the spot. He was killed by lower
abdominal gunshot wound.

"Bran Aung was in Phakant for Political Activities. He had no task for any
violent activity." said a spoke-person from ABSDF-NB.

Bran Aung left his beloved wife and two sons.
