LONDON=20
9th November 1999

"The Return of the Bride of Juntastein"

There are strong indications today in a by-product of
the British media, the Chelsea Express, that Rachel=20
Goldwyn. So recently a welcome guest in Insein prison=20
Rangoon, where unlike her former comrades undergoing=20
inhumane conditions and political oppression, she was safe=20
and enjoying a short term of life with a mild mannered bucket.=20
Will never return to the land of which, for the vast majority of=20
its population, her name has become a juntasick joke.

>From this local report, Goldwyn also seems to have changed=20
her mind in regard to her new found friends from both Burma=20
and closer to home. And is now worried that her smoothness=20
of passage through her studies in London will be effected by=20
the metaphorical rubber tyre that she has hanging around=20
her neck

In regard to jokes in general and the "Bride of Juntastein"
Her ambitious father Edward, "I know the secretary of the=20
Burmese ambassador rather well" Goldwyn, now safely
back in affluent class "old country" and "freedom" has=20
complained about the large number of Free Rachel Goldwyn!=20
posters that seem to be covering the area close to his=20
spacious home in Barnes London. However, the local council=20
offices have told BO that these anti-junta posters will remain in=20
place unless he wants to remove them personally.=20

As this "gentleman" may be loathed to leave the safety of=20
his domaine. That's edwardgoldwyn@<deleted>.com
One imagines that the Barnes based Free Rachel Goldwyn=20
campaign will move even further sideways, and focus upon=20
the more general problems inside the heads of young
innocent female returnees who once traded with junta=20
tours rather than much else. And that the Free Rachel!=20
posters will continue to "dog" .. Thereby jogging the elbow=20
of any further Goldwyn plans for "peace in Barnes at any=20
price" .=20

But the price of property in Barnes is pretty stable. And one=20
imagines the Goldwyn family wouldn't have too much trouble=20
selling their place.

So, all the great plans for the "Bride of Juntastein", Rachel=20
Goldwyn becoming an "anti-drug expert" and going back=20
to Juntaland for the purposes of "research", and "helping the=20
junta's poor from the inside" . These methods of regaining=20
social posture seem to be on "permanent hold" huh?=20
(So much for great ambitions.)
                 =20
Those who, wish to write to "the father of the bride" on the=20
subject of the bride's return, and the prisoners she left behind=20
in Insein, should contact Burma Out! for his Email address

Likewise for colour shots of Rachel Goldwyn with her fist in=20
the air demonstrating against her new found friends, please
return to the Mihra site, in about a week's time.

And now back to the real. The genuine article. Prisoner of=20
conscience, James Mawdsley.

We ail wish you and your mother the best of returns.=20
Now more than ever.
