Later this month, the French President Chirac will host the Chinese
President at his private chateau in Correze France during a state visit.
(The chateau was bought back when Jacques was first in power, under
Pompidou, in the sixties, George Pompidou was Charles De Gaulles prime
minister, and the chateau was three months later classified a historical
monument, that gets it state funding, and tax deductions for
restoration. Jack is supposed to be a personal friend of HH the Dalai
Lama. Since he is so friendly, perhaps Jacques might invite His Holiness
too for a little tete a tete. He wouldnt dare offend his friends the
Chinese. )
