Once and for All.
Let me explain something to everyone. Mihra the Music
Industry Human Rights Association is a human rights group.
It is NOT a concert promoting group.
If you had bothered to go to the Mihra site, and had checked
out the internal mandate, the one that deals with the darker
side of the music industry. You would have discovered why
this should be so.
So let me reverse this upon you , add an "I" and then
shouldn't it read?

Yes, maybe it would.. if YOU have the time to spare to learn
how to become a promoter and not just dream of the bright lights,
your fave stars, lottsa £dosh$ and publicity..

so...... no thanks So rather than waste even more time on
this rather boringly junior sounding subject? Let me refer you to this..

Let me explain something to you about "show biz"
as opposed to musicianship..
Sting .. Gordon Sumner our Greenpeace and Amnesty music
hero makes more money for his cartel member and the MPA
by staying in the headlines with his associations with those
charities who actual members have to work with but little, just
enough to keep themselves (or their bills) on the road.

own industry. Why? Because featured artists are a totally different
breed from musicians.. And as you can see from our sig file, there

The average featured artist, once having been one for a few years,
then becomes something unhuman, comparible with a featured rat
looking for more food, more stardom and glitterlife. And the devil
take the hindmost.
Try reading the Mihra pages huh? It saves me a lotta lotta
idiot time in explaination of the difference between the general
public's understanding of how the industry Really works, and how
it actually works. This public understanding is also comparible to
the generals "understanding" that they and only They, are the
"true saviors of their nation, aready suffering greatly under a
yoke of murderous oppression.
Well. another comparison with such a set up is with the music
industry, it's just that the murder and the starvation is not so
OBVIOUS...
So as for the interface between a creators human rights and
property rights, the answer is "Never put your daughter on the
stage Mrs Worthington" ... Unless she's young and knows how
to sit on a producers knee.
So if you want to know why we do not arrange concerts,
try bothering to study the Mihra site. And if youi don't like what
you read. Ask yourself how many "Stings" there are providing
you and Free Burma with their support...
While some of them may "belong to Amnesty"..In a way
they expect Amnesty, which has nop campaigning mandate, to
forgive their fat cat guilt huh?
Maybe you should go out a either shoot one or explain to them
who the hell is the true leader of her nation?
AS for Sir Bob (loudmouth) Geldolf? and a hypocritical "we didn't
mean to steal your song" Bono?
You don't believe that the corruption at the top of the rat heap
will get the debt relief?
What music fan blind faith.. Amazing.. But big enough
that Clinton has to at least pretend to take these hypocritical
simpletons of a highly dubious character seriously.
Now maybe you shoud study the Mihra site huh?
And let your dreams of a BIG CONCERT FOR BURMA
take a break huh?
Finally, There is only one featured artist that I know of, who
funds one person on this Burma group. And she "stutted her
stuff" waaaaay back in the 60s when both I and the best of best
was around
