       Myanmar Embassy Staff in Bangkok  Held Hostage By Armed Terrorists

           Today at 10:50am Bangkok Time, three gunmen armed with AK (47) rifles  came into the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok and held the embassy staff as  hostages. The Myanmar Ambassador was not in the embassy at the time of the  incident. He is working together with the Thai authorities to secure the  release of the hostages.

       There is no information regarding the identity of the terrorists and  the   organization they represent. The motive of the terrorists is not yet known.
