Burma Out! One way to run a newsgro

Subject: Burma Out! One way to run a newsgroup

               A final word?

Although the time for talking is not past, there is an
"embargo" (at least from Burma Out!) upon the needless.

It is only actual action such as the BO campaign which will
assist to remove Burma from the international community
until such time the junta find a face saving excuse to quit.

In fact, this group should not be a playground for children,
nor should it be a "liberation" tuition class for others. An
"experiment" .. This group gives news and co-ordinates direct
and other action.

You want to help? Come to the headquarters of the IOC in
Lausenne and demonstrate for a week or two. It'll make you
feel better and prove that ones legs can carry one to where
ones words have already publically suggested.

Of course, one is allowed to "run things" the way ones
"inner feelings", nationalism and frustrations decides.
But then some of the more experienced activists on this
group know a little better than to trust any such "inner
feelings".

For if one was seriously intending to make a worthwhile
contribution to the struggle. But if one cannot show up at
such demos as Lausenne, or sing a freedom song in
Rangoon on behalf of the plight of a number of nameless
refugees in Thailand.

Maybe it would be wiser to copy their example.

What we find most disturbing about some of the
debate aspects of Burmese liberation politics on this
group is a certain amateurism that allows one comrade
living in one nation to consider any direct attack upon
or any attempt to embarrass another, as acceptable.

Unless one is trying to contact a person and needs a general
call out. BO suggests that in the first instance, all questions
to BO are asked in private. "Behind closed doors"

Thank you for your attention to detail and security.
